Nicola Cherry,

University of Alberta


As an occupational epidemiologist with training in occupational psychology, medicine and epidemiology, Nicola Cherry has some 180 peer reviewed publications, the great majority on the relation between occupation and health, including the effects of exposures during pregnancy on the fetus. She is currently Director of the Division of Preventive Medicine at the University of Alberta, Canada. Her previous roles have included that of President of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (while head of the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Manchester, UK) and chair of the management committee for Annals of Occupational Hygiene.
